WORK COMPONENT

Future Stars have the opportunity to earn as they learn. Based on their interests and vocational aptitudes, a work site is developed where each youth will explore a career of interest. Youth work up to forty hours per week for a four to six week period. They are paid minimum wage and gain valuable work skills in a career of interest to them. Several Future Stars have obtained part-time and full-time positions with their Future Stars employers.
